Leland Kutay joined RFE Investment Partners as a Vice President in August 2025.

 Prior to joining RFE, Leland was a Private Equity Investment Professional at Kaulig Companies, the single-family office of Matt Kaulig, founder of Leaf Home. From 2016 to 2020, Leland was an Associate at Gridiron Capital, a middle-market private equity firm, where he supported the evaluation, execution, and management of investments across business and residential services, consumer, and industrial platforms. Leland began his career in 2014 as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Global Industrials Group at Barclays, where he advised on M&A and financing transactions.

 Leland graduated magna cum laude from the University of Richmond with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and received his MBA with honors from Columbia Business School.

Leland lives in Cos Cob, Connecticut with his wife, Chelsea, and their daughter, Campbell. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf, canyoning (when Chelsea allows), and international travel.
